We canceled our 2021 Festival because of the COVID-19 pandemic.  It would have been our 18th year.

2005 (Year 2):

  • After a year 1 Sunday event, we moved it to a Saturday
  • Stage was the park’s wooden staging

2004 (Year 1):

  • Sunday, July 11, 1 pm to 9 pm
  • Held one day (on a Sunday)
  • Stage was the Essex County portable stage
  • Just a bunch of local musician pulled together amplifiers, drum kits, a PA system, and a rented stage (courtesy of James Buchanan in the Maplewood Rec Department) to put on a show (Little Rascals Style)
  • Someone (James?) came up with the moniker “Maplewoodstock”
