What you may not know is that the Maplewoodstock Music and Arts Festival event is almost 100% funded through merchandise sales, advertising, sponsorships, and vendor fees. Our motto has always been “a festival for and of the community”.
Costs include hiring a professional production company for sound and stage, booking headline acts, paying our share of logistics (up-front costs on printing t-shirts, Port-a-Potty cleaning, etc.).
As is always the case, we encourage you to first support our vendors and sponsors. And, secondly purchase our merchandise (t-shirts, hats, water bottles, etc.) — as we typically set up in spots around Maplewood every Saturday from late May until late June (as well as selling merchandise during the weekend festival).
Third, and lastly, we are also humbly take donations to support our free, two-day event run by volunteers who pour our love and sweat equity into this event — for and of the community.
