MSO Wrestling Saturday & Sunday We are excited to apply for a presence at this year’s Maplewoodstock Festival on behalf of MSO Cougar Wrestling, a local nonprofit dedicated to developing character, confidence, and community through youth wrestling in Maplewood and South Orange. Each year, we set up an interactive tent and wrestling mat to give kids a chance to try the sport in a fun and safe environment. Our space is always a hit with families—whether it’s young children testing out basic moves or parents learning more about our program. Our primary goals are: • To build community by creating a fun, family-friendly experience at the festival • To recruit new wrestlers and introduce more local families to our program • To support the broader Maplewoodstock mission of celebrating local talent and organizations We’d love to be placed near the kids zone or close to the stage, where families naturally gather, so we can create an inviting, high-energy environment for kids to participate. The Maplewoodstock Festival is very kid and family-friendly.

We have an entire Kid Zone with fun things like:

• Bouncy rides
• Face painting
• Arts and crafts
• Ice cream
• etc.

We try (with tweaks) to keep the Kid Zone within eyeballs of the hill amphitheater seating so that parents can relax and let their growing and more independent children go off on their own for a period of time.

(Not all these things are available every year, as we continually tweak our offerings.)
