Thank you for your past support of Maplewoodstock! As we plan for Maplewoodstock 2026 – our 21st festival – we’ve kicked off a new campaign to keep Maplewoodstock groovin’ with an initial goal of $20K, and we need your help to make it happen.
DONATEDid you know:
- For the last 23 years, Maplewoodstock has been our community’s best FREE live music and arts event;
- Maplewoodstock is run by an all-volunteer committee;
- While Maplewood Township is supportive of our festival, the Maplewoodstock festival receives no direct financial contribution from the township or your tax dollars;
- We fund this festival almost entirely through merchandise sales, advertising, sponsorships, food and arts vendor fees, the beer garden (in partnership with the local South Orange Elks lodge #1154);
- Maplewoodstock is produced by Music & Arts Education Project (MAEP), a Maplewood-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to promoting arts education in SOMA and in the SOMSD public schools;
- Our costs to produce this festival have increased almost 30% since COVID 2019;
- Costs include a professional production company for sound and stage, compensating headline acts and local bands, and all other logistics (including Port-a-Potty rentals, township police and public works expenses, insurance, permitting, signage, and more).
Our motto has long been “a festival OF and FOR the community”. We invite for your support to keep Maplewoodstock the amazing free event that it is. Our goal this winter/spring 2025 is to raise at least $25,000 of additional funds so our 21st festival (over 23 years) can be the best ever!
What’s in it for you?
- A fantastic and epic two-Day Maplewoodstock experience July 11-12, 2026, with opportunity to commune with friends, family, and neighbors;
- That feel good feeling of giving back to your community;
- The opportunity to join our Donor’s Circle!
